RINSE Release Debut Track from States Of Emotion

RINSE has consistently been at the forefront of fwd thinking electronic/dance music which makes this release all the more interesting. A new side of the label seems to be emerging with the release of this monster indie guitar debut from the much talked about Essex band States Of Emotion. The track is a refreshing straight to the point indie banger and from the off frontman Olly Hookings vocals scream a sense of conviction that seems rare in the current crop of breaking bands, as the song starts to develop and the layers are applied it becomes very clear why RINSE see something in this band. All of us here at YO LDN! have long been followers of both States and RINSE and see this as a partnership hung heavy with talent, conviction and cool.

MUMDANCE has notched up releases on global bass imprints like Mad Decent and Trouble & Bass and is now releasing 12"s via key UK labels like Tectonic and Keysound. The London-based artist MUMDANCE is currently on everybodys HYPE list, with his recent productions seeing him pushing the parameters of electronic music,
His first record of 2014 comes cut by cool as you like label Unknown To The Unknown the EP 'Springtime', is full to the limit with synth-heavy grime and techno. alongside this MUMDANCE aka Jack Adams runs his own DIFFERENT CIRCLES parties at East LDNs Queen Of Hoxton, where he holds a residency and can be seen djing with a hefty cross section of the underground dj elite. DJ ZINC drops new Mixtape from the "Trust Me I Was There" series

DJ ZINC has just put out the 3rd in a series of mixtapes called "Trust me i was there" and we are all over it !! , Zinc wrote "its music that i was playing and listening to, this time its all from 1989, and as i was buying more music by this time there will be 3 hour long mixes for '89. by 1989 i'd left school and was working 9-5 then spending all my other time listening to pirates and buying music. i didn't have enough money for turntables at this point so i used to chop up tracks using a crappy home hifi using the pause button. luckily nowadays i have turntables"

MAGNETIC MAN confirmed for SW4 festival

Magnetic Man are joining Underworld and Pendulum on the line-up for this summer’s SW4 festival…

Skream, Benga and Artwork will be rocking the main stage on Sunday 28 of the two-day weekend event on Clapham Common.

Skream said: “SW4 is an important gig for us! It’s on our home turf, the atmosphere is always incredible and we can get a taxi home at the end. We can’t wait to tear it up in front of our friends and family. This will also be the only chance to catch us in the great outdoors, in the capital this year. So it’s going to be very special indeed – see you there!”

With the rest of the line-up still to be announced, head to the South West Four website for tickets and info
